Introduction
The process of development involves structural change in the economy and society, leading to enhancement of capabilities to meet human needs. This programme aims to provide students with an understanding of development as a comprehensive process with several dimensions. The programme will introduce students to some of the key debates and approaches among development specialists and analysts. In this regard, the programme offers courses, which together with other approved courses, lead to the award of Bachelor of Project Planning & Management.

Applicants to be admitted into the degree programme must satisfy the minimum entry requirements for admission as specified by the University and the School. Applicants must be holders of:

A Sudan School Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE) with a minimum mean grade of C+ and above or its equivalent with good credit passes in Mathematics and English; or

A Diploma in a relevant field of study from WOI University or any other institution recognized by WOI University Senate.

The duration of each programme shall normally be FOUR (4) academic years, consisting of eight semesters in total. Students will be required to take a minimum of 42 credits and a maximum of 48 credits in each academic year.
