  1. There shall be a Management Board of the University
  2. The Management Board shall have the following members:
    1. Vice-Chancellor, who shall be the Chairman;
    2. Deputy Vice-Chancellors;
    3. Principals;
    4. University Librarian;
    5. Registrars, one of whom shall be Secretary;
    6. Dean of Students;
    7. Two other persons co-opted by the Management Board
  3. The functions of the Board are:
    1. To propose rules and regulations to the University Council for the administration of the University;
    2. To manage and administer the daily operations of the affairs of the University;
    3. Ensuring efficient management of the personnel, facilities, and finances of the University;
    4. Developing and maintaining the University’s resources and facilities in close consultation with the Senate;
    5. Being responsible for the preparation of annual budgets of the University in close consultation with the Senate;
    6. Recommending to the Senate and the University Council, and thereafter implementing management policies and strategies that will advance objects and functions of the University; and
    7. Perform such other duties as may be prescribed in the Statutes from time to time.
