- There shall be a Management Board of the University
- The Management Board shall have the following members:
- Vice-Chancellor, who shall be the Chairman;
- Deputy Vice-Chancellors;
- Principals;
- University Librarian;
- Registrars, one of whom shall be Secretary;
- Dean of Students;
- Two other persons co-opted by the Management Board
- The functions of the Board are:
- To propose rules and regulations to the University Council for the administration of the University;
- To manage and administer the daily operations of the affairs of the University;
- Ensuring efficient management of the personnel, facilities, and finances of the University;
- Developing and maintaining the University’s resources and facilities in close consultation with the Senate;
- Being responsible for the preparation of annual budgets of the University in close consultation with the Senate;
- Recommending to the Senate and the University Council, and thereafter implementing management policies and strategies that will advance objects and functions of the University; and
- Perform such other duties as may be prescribed in the Statutes from time to time.
