- The University is to have a Faculty Board for each faculty, school or institute, responsible for academic matters
- A faculty Board is to consist of the following:
- dean of the faculty, school or institute, as Chairperson; and
- a number of members of academic staff as may be prescribed by the statutes.
- A Faculty Board is to constitute itself into a Faculty Board of Examiners whenever so required and is to meet to discuss and process examination results.
- Members of Academic staff who have taught and examined students in a faculty, school or institute are considered qualified for the membership to the Board.
- A Faculty Board is to have powers to establish Departmental or Centre Boards.
- Terms of reference for Faculty and associated Board is prescribed by the Statutes.
